What the Fair Political Practices Commission Can Do For You
If you are involved in politics, considering a run for public office, or just want to be more informed, this meeting is the place to go. You will learn about the informal and formal advice the FPPC offers to public officials. Ranging from whether you have to put a disclosure on a campaign pot-holder (you don’t) to whether you need to disclose a particular asset on a SEI 700 Form, or if you can accept a gift of travel expenses, FPPC Counsel, Karen Harrison is able to answer any questions you have to help you navigate the political world.
The San Luis Obispo County Bar Association is a State Bar-approved MCLE provider. This program qualifies for one (1) hour MCLE credit; the speaker’s presentation will be one hour in length.
NOTE: the required substantive written materials for this meeting are available on our website, http://www.slobar.org/member-center/member-documents . Please download the documents at your convenience. Copies will NOT be available at the meeting.
