MCLE General Membership Meeting - ETHICS MCLE CREDIT
Judge Harman’s presentation will help the bar understand the limitations placed on judges by way of the Canons of Ethics for the judiciary. Attorneys often are not aware of the canons judges must comply with in their lives. They are taught judges are judges 24/7 and the canons apply in every aspect of their lives, on the bench, off the bench, privately and financially, and effect how they relate to attorneys and the community in general.
The San Luis Obispo County Bar Association is a State Bar-approved MCLE provider. This program qualifies for one (1) hour MCLE credit including one (1) hour of legal ethics; the speaker’s presentation will be one hour in length.
NOTE: the required substantive written materials for this meeting will be available after November 10, 2017, on our website, http://www.slobar.org/member-center/member-documents. Please download the documents at your convenience. Copies will NOT be available at the meeting.
